First off, many many thanks to Craig Matsumoto, who cheered up a gloomy iconocurmudgeonclast and turned me on to a compilation I didn't even know existed.My vote for the improv compilation of 2006 has just been cast, with the incredible Women Take Back the Noise set, with CDs and art-cards inside a clear-plastic zipper bag, graced with a flower that makes excruciating noise. You KNOW you want this for Christmas.
